I'm sure most of you have played a variant of Hogtagon, or Lava Pit from Halo 3. I liked them so much I remade Hogtagon on Halo Reach. I spent a lot of time on this map, and I worked out all of the kinks in the map. It runs smoothly, well made, and very fun. It is ideal for 4-8 people. It's one of the best Hogtagon maps I've seen so far. If you like these types of custom games I would definitely give this map and game type a go because it is a lot of fun, and me and my friends play it for hours straight. I have made a few changes to the map, and gametype since my last post so I figured I would let everyone know that the links are updated to the most recent map and gametype. Okay, this map was fun in Halo 3 because it was never done before. Now you remade it in Halo: Reach and it's just boring, the forging is half decent and it doesn't project any new type of gameplay at all. If you want to get noticed (in a good way) you need to add something special that trademarks your work and catches peoples attention.
unoriginal, boring, fun if u play very sparingly took me 5 minutes to make my version when i first loaded it up. If ur going to bring back a halo map add something new to it.
Well I feel it is a Classic, and I don't think it needs to be changed too much. For the trademark part, I don't think I should waste my time on it because it will most likely be stolen anyway lol.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I kinda have to agree with them. I am new to posting on this site so I have no real reputation to back me up, but I don't think your map has anything alluring to it at all. Theft is not this maps main concern.
