Hello, my name is RandomPanda0 and I'm new to this forum. I'm writing this post to show some interesting properties of a sender node being five units below a receiver node. The format is like this (only the 90 degree angles of the receiver node are shown in this case):

    Pitch:0 (Slashes show simplified versions)
    Yaw:0
    Roll:0
Results: Direction of Launch: Upward, Forward, Downward; Movement (N, S, W, E); Camera change (Inverse(I with cardinal directions), Clockwise(CW), Counterclockwise (CCW) or Retaining camera positon (RCP)

    Results are as followed:
    Pitch:0
    Yaw:0
    Roll:0
    Results: Forward; E,W ; I-N,S

    Pitch:90
    Yaw:0
    Roll:0
    Results: Upward; I-N,S

    Pitch: -180/0
    Yaw: 0/-180
    Roll: 0/-180
    Results: Forward; W,E; I-N,S

    Pitch: -90/ -90
    Yaw: 0/ -180
    Roll: 0/ -180
    Results: Downward; I-N,S

    Pitch:0
    Yaw: 90
    Roll:0
    Results: Forward; N ; CW

    Pitch:0
    Yaw: -180
    Roll:0
    Results: Forward; W ; RCP

    Pitch:0
    Yaw: -90
    Roll:0
    Results: Forward; S ; CCW

    Pitch:0
    Yaw:0
    Roll: 90
    Results: Forward; E ; I-E,W

    Pitch:0
    Yaw:0
    Roll: -180
    Results: ward; E ; I-W,E

At this point the basic combinations have been learned. 2 variables will not be done.

    EDIT: For user-friendliness,
Pitch decides if you go up, down, left, or right (90 is up, -90/270 is down)
Yaw decides which direction you move in (0 is East, -180/180 is West)
    Can someone figure out Roll?

This makes a lot of sense, but the reason you haven't gotten any responses is because most members here are dumb. They probably took one look at this thread, saw that it looked complicated, and closed the tab. I'd suggest a video or something to explain in simpler terms what you're talking about.

Ok. What would be the use of this?

I understand the concept behind this. It would def. be a time saver if you were the type of person who planned out their map in a fair amount of detail. It would allow for you to make teleporters without having to guess and check repeatedly to make sure you get the desired results.

I did have a question about this....

    "Results are as followed:
    Pitch:0
    Yaw:0
    Roll:0
    Results: Forward; E,W ; I-N,S"

At the end, I understand that your movement is forward from East to West. It also says that the direction you are looking is inverse. I assumed that you meant inverse as in it was reversed, which would have left you facing East. That's based on me understanding the first part (Maybe I have that part wrong?), but you have it inverse facing South. I know I am probably missing something here, so can you clarify it for me a bit please? If you could get pictures up showing the situations that may attract more people to join in on this topic, and possibly reduce future confusion like the bit I am having lol.

Also you should add in information regarding how where you actually enter the teleporter affects where you are at the receiver when you come out. I know if you have a teleporter and you go into it at the top (and you have the height of it set higher than normal) you will come out of the receiver high as well. Maybe you should do different combination and add that in as well.

Oh, and I know when I was in forge I had some issues setting up teleporters when the host of the match swapped. I made a set of teleporters and they worked fine when I was alone. As, soon as someone else came in and took host from me they worked perfect for the host, but I began facing a different direction. I adjusted it to make it work for me while I was still not host, but when the host quit and I was given back host I ended up with the same problem once again. I don't know if that is due to being in forge or if it is just a problem I had because I did something wrong. That may be worth looking into as well. It would all be a lot of information useful to those who prefer to plan way ahead (I don't think most new forgers would make use of it), but it would be one hell of a write up. I will def. be using the information (as soon as I get my confusion solved of course lol).

IMO just testing the teleporter works better.

I expected that host may affect these things so I may have to redo this with and without host. As for your question, the first set of directions are which way you are moving. The Second one is which way you are aiming. Hope this helps.
