It should not take me more than 10 minutes to figure out how to make a territory (and I still don't know how to do it, I just gave up). What is the meaning of this, Bungie? What was wrong with the way halo 3's forge let you set up gametype objectives in forge? Then you could simply change the gametype in forge, and place down gametype specific objectives. now? I have no idea what I'm doing. Why is it necessary to go in advanced and try to figure out how I'm supposed to work whatever I'm making. How do I know how to use the objective pieces? I don't know the difference between a hill marker and a capture point? Which advanced setting am I supposed to use? I just don't understand why they changed it, instead of leaving it nice and simple. is there a guide anywhere that i could read or anything?
I agree that this takes a lot longer to set up gametypes. But if you help go to this LINK this will help ya.
not really, all you really have to do is before you start forge, pick a gametype, place the objectives, then set the objectives to the gametype.
I shouldn't have to though. It's such a step back from Halo 3's. Regardless, I can't for the life of me figure out how to make a multi flag map.
They are supporting more advanced forging for advanced forgers, such as the ones in Forgehub, the more dedicated forgers, who will be making the best maps out there. It is fairly simple if you think about it, it is just hard to work out how to do certain things, if you have never done it before. That's why.
So true. Personally, I worked out how to setup maps for a gametype on my own. There were only one or two really complicated things that I actually looked at the 'Required Forge Objects Guide' for info, mainly things to do with setting up Invasion to be assault.
