Overview I started this map about a week after Reach came out and i just wanted to make a fun course around Forgeworld and it evolved into a race over air, land, water, and an abandoned Forerunner city. Goes through the Coliseum, down a huge ramp, Paradiso, Cave, Blood Gulch, Alaska, and the Ocean through a gate and you are teleported seamlessly back to the Coliseum! Don't worry, this is not just a plain old race around the Forgeworld map. Features: The ruins of a Forerunner City A giant spaz ramp A well crafted two lane bridge A drive through the highlands A drive under water No confusion of where to go next! I've had random people and friends test the map and they've all had fun and Around the World is best with as many people you can get and is even better if they're good at driving a Mongoose or Warthog . Everything has been touched to cover all crevices and to make sure that all sections of the map both look great and play well. The checkpoints cover a wide area so players don't have to worry about missing a checkpoint. The teleporters also cover a wide area so you can't miss them P.S. at Blood Gulch (Forerunner City) there is an alternate highroad path which could easily be missed. Cuts about one second time off your time. P.S.S. You are meant to go crazy over the first jump and the ramp. You will see when you play the map that you will almost always land it on 4 wheels. Don't worry about it. Its always funny to watch anyways. P.S.S.S. I've hidden a secret room like I do for all my maps. I thought this was going to be a race map that circles the perimeter of Forge World, lol. I like this map though, you basically did what I said, but in a more creative way. I like maps like this. You made it in a better way with fun jumps and much fun included. Great Job.
Thanks lol yeah the plain drive around Forgeworld had been done before easily so I wanted to just mix it up a little. Especially with the abandoned city feel. Sorry for the double post but does anyone know how I can make the thumbnail pic show up? I edited to add one but it isn't showing up on the forum...? Any help?
