Isle Circuit V.2 Creator: THE Fuglystick Track: Isle Circuit V.2 Map:Forge World Gametype: Race Description: This is my first Reach track, as well as my first race track since like 2008 or so. Its a mix of a terrain and a stunt map that takes you around the island in Forge World. Its mostly doublewide, with a few parts on the terrain sections that can get a little tight(such as the cave to the spiral banked turn). Hope you all enjoy it. As a heads up, keep an eye out for the land mines. If you want to be evil to your fellow racers, drive close to the mines without necessarily hitting it for a delayed explosion. Update: In version 2, mostly superficial changes were added. A small tweak was made to the transition from the mountain bank down to the terrain section to make it smoother. Otherwise All the changes are additions to the scenery, attempting to give the map more of an atmosphere of an abandoned forerunner facility. Overview Starting Area/Coastal Road. The map now supports 16 racers. The path leading up to the banked turn around the mountain. Mostly aesthetic changes have been made here, but the transition from the bank down to the terrain has been made more user-friendly. The jump linking the two widest pieces of track on the course. Again the changes are almost all decoration/setting related.
This map needs some attention cause it seriously rocks. Im actually shocked no one here posted on it yet. You've done a great job merging terrain with man-made sections. There's even a couple risky little shortcuts, which hasn't been done much and I really like. The forging is super-smooth and it looks phenomenal. More people need to check this out.
I should be more mature than this, but NO nO NO No nono NO!!! IM making an Island Prix! I thought the island would make a perfect race course and a perfect mix of man-made and terrain racing... Well, you beat me to it It looks great, and I will take a ride through it. It looks like you used some enormous pieces, but I guess you kind of have to if you want to block things off. BTW I love the look of the rocks in the water. I'll still make mine, but I guess it wasn't such a novel idea after all.
