Automatic Ball Scoring System(rendered video)

    If this isn't widely known yet I would just like to share this because it may lead to some awesome creations.

    In my map Smashball that I am currently working on that can be found here:
    Smashball
    I created a way that the game will automatically keep score when a ball is scored in one of the goals.

    In the enclosed area in the following picture, that is where the magic of score keeping happens

    However, in order to give you a better look at what goes on inside that area, this next picture is a "sliced" view of that enclosed area.

    Here is a rundown of how it works.
    1. The ball in the enclosed area has a label set to STP_GOAL and the team is set to whatever team is shooting on that goal. So if the red team has to shoot at that goal, you set the ball to be Red Team
    2. The neutral flag stand is just that. Just change the label to say STP_FLAG
    3. When the ball goes into the goal, it sets off the explosives which knocks the other ball on top of the neutral flag.
    4. With stockpile set as the game type and the collection time set to 15 seconds(the lowest it can go) the game will automatically check for any flag collection every 15 seconds.
    5. Once a team scores, they get 1 point for 1 flag and the round ends and a new round starts!

    will it only work for one point?

    I guess if you figured out a way to reset the ball that is set as the capture point then you could do more than one point. I'm not the best at forge so I'm not sure how you can do that.

    Objective items reset as soon as they hit a hard kill zone. If you can set it so the flag is captured instantly then you could just have the ball continue to roll in to a kill zone, causing it respawn at its starting point.

    As far as I know, in stockpile you can't have the flag captured instantly. The smallest amount of capture time I can get is 15 seconds. Maybe i'll play with the game types and see if another ctf game can make this work better. Do you know if you can have more than one neutral flag on the neutral flag ctf gametype?

    UPDATE: From testing, it seems that there is something special about the stockpile flags. They aren't attached to the flag stand. I just looked a video of my scoring system and noticed that when the soccer ball hits into the flag the flag actually moves...You can't do that in normal CTF, with normal ctf flags the flags are rooted to the ground
