YouTube - Block Fort Clip 1 YouTube - Block Fort Clip 2 YouTube - Block Fort Clip 3 This is a remake (with slight changes) of Block Fort from the Nintendo 64 version of Mario Kart. (Battle mode, not the race.) This map is pretty straightforward. Rockets in the middle, sniper and shotgun on the top tier, needle rifles and dmrs on the tops of the blocks, and concussion rifles and grenade launchers located near the first floor gravity lifts. Man cannons launch players diagonally from the tops of the blocks, and the cannons on the first floor shoot players to the second floor. All the levels are accessible with ramps, obviously. NOTE: To just play slayer on this map, just set the gametype to slayer. If you want to play headhunter there, use the Block Fort HH gametype, which has jetpacks disabled. Added coliseum walls to chuck grenades off of and added lights and different structures on the tops of the coliseum walls to give players reference points. Gamertag: Oprawindfury87
This looks like it might be good for RocketRace, will try it out! Edit: Played FFA Swat on here and had a really good time. I only see a few issues with this level: The grenades should be phased, if you are full on grenades you will actually stand on the spare ones. Add a Kill zone underneath the level. Yeah, it's up high and all, but without changing any game settings or using abilities I can jump down to the island and live. I see what you mean about being too small for rocketrace, but a larger remake that would work for rocketrace is buzzing around in my head now. Final Verdict: Pretty awesome, will play again! Design 8/10, Playability 9/10
Little small for rocket race. Recommend Headhunter or Slayer, had a lot of fun with those on this map.
