I seem to be having a problem building some form of Road or Highway on forgeworld, this mainly only affects Warthogs though, whenever i use a material for the road and drive a warthog down it the tires will drag along the material, giving off a high pitched screeching noise as if its constantly making a swurving turn, not just is this an unappealing noise it reduces the max speed of the Warthog. I Wondered if this was Material Specific? Does Anyone know of a Object i can use to create the road that will not have this effect? Or is there some way of fixing this normally? perhaps with game options? I've tried using Wall; Coliseum, Block 5x5 Flat, i've used rotation snap 90 degrees to get it perfectly lined up, and i just mean roads generally, i use roads for vehicle access on quite a few maps i create. I'd appreciate any help.
what object are you using/is it on an angle/ does it always make this noise or just when accelerating. just try to give us a bit more info, so we can properly help. what would make this road so special?

thats just really weird. never heard of that happening. might just be the fact that it is metal, but im pretty sure ive driven warthogs well on wall colliseums. do they drive fine on the grass? im gonna test this next time i get on my xbox, see if its normal or not.
Sure feel free to test it, tell me if you find anything interesting, yes it works fine on land. i just dont see why it should grind, the walls are flat. Get in touch if you figure something out
The only thing I ever figured out, was that if you started making the sound you wouldn't stop. But you don't always start to make the sound. When I made this level. I had all sorts of problems with that. The Mongeese do it as well. If I drove onto the surface normally, it wouldn't screech. If I made a sharp turn and started to make the sound, it wouldn't go away until I caught air and stopped contact with the road. Or if I came to a stop. Other than that. I think we are screwed.
So is there no known way of fixing this? it seems rather a major thing if it also effects mongeese, its reducing vehicle speed on forge made structures, so maps with vehicle bridges, floating maps with vehicles ect are effected.
