While I love remakes, I think I speak for a large number of people with the following: Why the **** would you remake Snowbound? I was looking forward to never playing it again after Halo 3.
Wow, I honestly wasted time on a DL... This would be pretty cool. It is like a snowbound re-imagining. It COULD be cool if randoms gaps, lips, and bumps didn't render it unplayabel...
Yeah I'm sorry to say that I don't like this remake. While in it's own right it has the potential to be playable it is not a good remake. The scale of almost everything is off. As the post above me says; there are lips, bumps, and gaps all over the place. Try to line things up better. The tops of both bases can't be walked up. There is such a huge lip on top that you have to jump. The tunnel for the mongoose also doesn't remind me of Snowbound at all. It needs to have some sort of ramp that leads to the top. And where is all the rock cover and pathways on the mongoose side? If you REALLY want to forge a snowbound remake you need to have more attention to detail and should probably make it outside in the canyon, alaska, or montana. Sorry if it sounds harsh but I'm not keeping this download. Edit:On my way to delete it I noticed that it really only took you a day to "complete". You created it on 10/02 at 12:11 am. Your last modification was 10/02 at 10:29 pm. Any good map is probably going to take longer than a day to build. Just take a little more time with it to get everything right.
