This is just a goofy idea I came up with while watching one of those Inside Xbox videos on the dashboard the other day (not so much the content of the video, just the name tipped off the idea). Anyways, it's basically just the inside of the new Xbox 360, it's not 100% accurate, certain things had to be adjusted to fit properly and/or work better with the game, and it's still under construction. It's also not a ridiculously serious map - I just wanted to shoot it out here and see if anyone had any suggestions/ideas to improve the map. Thanks!

"Front" of the Xbox. USB drives and Light Ring from the inside.

View from the hard drive slot of the CPU and DVD Drive.

Cable leading up to the hard drive slot.

More cables. These act as bridges/walkways up to upper levels.

View from under the DVD drive. Facing the back of the Xbox.

Inside the DVD drive. (Spartan Laser spawns here. I made 2 "doorways" leading into the drive, and had to make ramps leading up to the tray itself for easier travel.)

    Hope you like it!

That looks great. I would suggest submitting it to the Testers Guild so you can get some professional help on what you should do.

Great idea and I think you did it very nicely.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely look into submitting it there..... proooobably in it's next phase which will include compatibility with most if not all of the game modes. I feel like just testing it under Slayer may not be worth it?

I haven't played on your map or anything. But the bridges with the curved walls look awesome. Great idea. I'm gonna have to put that into a map or two somehow.

    "professional" lol

but yea this map is a sweet idea. i remember seeing a map like this in far cry 2.

you know the load out cameras?

you should make a faceplate of an xbox outside of the map and have the loadout cameras looking at it. they did that in the farcry 2 map and it was a cool idea

I'd recommend you don't post it till you full fairly confident that it's a "finished product". So usually Testers Guild is a good idea before posting. Either way, great idea and looks like a great map. I've downloaded it, and probably won't have time to get back to feedback, but either way, welcome to Forge Hub and hope to see you :)

Shouldn't the DVD drive be side-ways? Or is the entire X-Box on its side?

Yes, the Xbox is on its side. I felt this made more sense in terms of gameplay.

    Edit/Update:

New Ring of Light from the inside. Not sure if you can see the whole button from the inside but I think this gives people a better idea of what that part is supposed to be.

Initial load-out camera... The best I could come up with for an exterior view with the budget I had left. Thanks for the idea just defy!
