Aquatica - From where a water treatment plant once stood, a battlefield emerges. Listen as the waterfall ironically paints a peaceful picture, in a dangerous warzone. *created by Liquatic & JSnoop420* Surely you were just as tired as we were at seeing the same vista everytime you downloaded a Forge World map, with no creativity in it's placement nor overall feel. Aquatica aims to change that view. Secluded next to a calming waterfall lies a once thriving water treatment plant overlooking the grand coastline of Forge World. You would never know you were on Forge World when you first spawn. That was the plan. To make it feel like a truly new map. Why not check it out for yourself? Why not take the endeavor into a grand new battlefield awaiting your punishment? Don't let these pictures fool you...There's plenty more to see on Aquatica.
I think you missed some capitalization, and spaces on your ellipses, bro. ANYWAY, I really like the look of this map, aesthetically. But one thing that drives me crazy, on most maps now, is the use of those ramps with the railings on them. They are great for floating maps(Ala;Guardian), but for "catwalks" above the dancefloor having railings that force you to jump to get off of a high point just breaks flow in combat. While it wouldn't look as good without the railings, I recommend using the underside of them(this is also rumored to decrease frame rate drops;though no amount of testing has been done for it to be fact yet).
You do have a point there, I guess it's just me but I never minded jumping. But this map isn't for me, it's for you...the people. I will definitely consider that, it is a great idea, gameplay would be greatly altered in a good way...but I'm letting V2 run it's course before attempting V3 (with your suggestions of course).
so i made a v3 of this map you wanna check it out liquatic just message me. I changed weapon placement, catwalks, less confusing, easier to see, tuned up for gamplay, and ready to test
Jsnoop? Damn, I didn't know you were on this site. Great to see you man. On a random note, our map has gotten 541 downloads on Bungie. On-topic: Yes I would like to see this change, lemme finish watching netflix, and I'll be on.
