Splatterhouse

    Sorry guys, I have already posted this gametype in the Halo Reach Casual Maps Forum but then i realised it would make more sense in this forum.

    This gametype is simple. One person will be infected and will spend the round hitting off heaps of debris down a steep tunnel with a pit of water and rocks at the bottom at helpless uninfected.

    The uninfected are trapped at the bottom with no escape so they must use evade to escape oncoming objects to survive for as long as possible.

    I tested this with about 12 people and it was fun and hilarious.

    I've have played this game several times with my friends and it is great fun. It took a few rounds to realize the revinats were there to push the stuff out. It is extremely hard and great fun trying to dodge 10 dice at one. So far there havent been any exploits. Great map, great game.

    Thanks for the feedback Ebullient. I wish more people would leave feedback (good or bad) just to let me know if there's anything i should add or change.

    Me and about 7 others played this game a few nights ago and had a pretty good time. I just wish the junk would spawn faster, but I'm sure that's hard to control.

    Most people tried hiding on the sides of the wall as it seemed like they weren't getting hit as much, but they did eventually get killed in some way.

    Also, the zombie can just leave the area and kill everyone down below since he is invincible. But that's not really your fault, my friends are just dumb lolol.

    Overall, good map.

    Yeah it's out of my control. I have done all i can to make the objects respawn faster, ive put everything on 1 second respawn and done the run time minimum/maximun stuff but it doesnt seem to make much difference.

    I'm making a version 2 to stop people hugging the walls. I kinda thought that the one way shields would stop that but there are another 2 ways i can stop it, i just have to test which way is best.

    And can you tell me how the zombie gets out of the area? because that has never happened in any of the matches i've played and thats what the one way shields are there for.
