First off, i'm a forge noob, so any assistance would be great.

I've got these 2 maps i'm working on now, and they both have this problem.

First, on Golf Ball, at the beginning of the game, it always seems like 2 or 3 people spawn outside of the designated area for the map and have to kill themselves to get back inside. After that, everything's fine.. i've scanned the entire map and cannot find any spawn points outside of the area i intend the game to be played. If i can fix this, this map will end up being awesome. The game is intended to be a King of the Hill variant, known as Goose of the Hill where the Mongoose is the hill and such... when it works it's great.

Second, on another map called Skyball [i know, a lot of maps with 'Ball' in the name, but these are not related] i have the exact opposite issue. Everyone seems to spawn where they should initally, but after they die they respawn outside of the designated area. Why? There's no spawn points outside of the initial area at all, either. This is a Grifball variant where you play high up in the sky, and if you fall off... you die.

This is really annoying me.. and i'm not sure how to fix it going forward.
    Any ideas?

Tell you what, I'm online right now. I could just assume you left out correct spawn points for the gametype, but I can't say with certainty without actually seeing the map. Send a friend request to 'Ursus the Grim' and put the maps and gametypes on your fileshare. I will do a run through and check it out for you.

If you want, of course. Otherwise I can only recommend that you make sure you have both initial spawns and respawn points set up for each team in sufficient quantities. If there is no place for someone to spawn in a given scenario, the game will use one of the invisible, preset ForgeWorld spawns.

It seems there's a minimum space that needs to be above a spawn for Reach to pay any attention to it. You only need about .5 units of space above a spawn to stand on it, but it seems at least .7 (or so) units are necessary for Reach to actually spawn people on it.

If any spawns are in very (vertically) tight spaces, raise the ceilings above them and see if that helps.
