Ive decided to take a break from making Avalanche maps and started to make a very good slayer, CTF, and infection map on Foundry. I made one base for the defenders and I made some cover for the attackers to spawn with. The defenders base has a nicely interlocked bunker attached to it. And attackers get cover such as boxes trucks Bubble Sheilds and the Deployable Sheild. Here are some pics of the map. Whole Thing Whole Thing 2 Bunker Inside Bunker The Base Hallway Turret Dowlnod Here http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=20536383 Please Download this map and give me some feedback. This will sadly be my last map ill make in a while.
the bunker looks tight, but the 50 facing a shield barrier kinda pushes me away from dling this one...
Im sure the corridor could be fixed but having a shield door is better than not having one on normal gameplay , i mean a decent stick could sort the guy out on the turret but for infection im not so sure. maybe you could make a haunted version like bart's manor or chapel and change slight parts to the layout and scenery?
Ok ill take of the turret and replace it with a something more fair, and i will switch the screenshots by today. thank you for the feedback.
Awh man... I have a bunker just like that in my next my I'm working on. I don't feel original anymore. With that aside, the map looks nice except for that shield door hall. I would suggest one shield door with a space to throw grenades through on CTF and slayer. no one likes campers and that just screams camping.
the turrets are not overpowered at all.ill give you some reasons 1 the attackers get lots a cover so they can hide from the turrets. 2 each turret can only shoot in a special spot or angle. also two turrets are always better than one
The sheild doors make intresting gameplay. Instead of throwing grenades you would be having melee fights, and you cant really camp in a hallway. Unless you have a shotty or a sword, but this map doesnt have those weapons in it. It mostly has dual weild weapons which means less camping and more fun, fast paced action.
