So I'm trying to build a frigate in forge world. So far I've got a bridge, a working MAC gun made of mancannons/grav lifts, an ODST drop room, sickbay, a hangar, captain's quarters, and two engine rooms. All of which you can walk to. My problem is this. I've got it about 65% complete and I'm nearly out of pieces. lol. If anyone wants to help me build this thing, and or see the map. Post here and I'll PM you my Gamertag.
I don't like the limit either. I ran out of blocks on my Race map, and it was barely complete. Ugh.. I thought we would have a much more open budget but yeah. Oh, and I would like to see your map.
a little money saving tip I picked up: use a scorpion and blocks to make the effect of a mac cannon (or as close as possible with saving money).
Are you out of peices in everything? in my Pillar of Autumn map I used the all the structure peices except for decorative of which I used about half and Buildings which I used about half again. I think these were the two most expensive which is why I didnt use many. you just have to look at objects in a new way and see how you can use them diffently in your map. if it helps heres the link to my pillar of autumn if you want to have a look around: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-competitive-maps/107483-pillar-autumn.html theres a download link there to. But if you've already done this you may have to go over your map with a fine tooth comb and get rid of any bits which are not entirely neccessary. Again I did this over and over again, especially when I reached the budget limit. can a expensive item be replaced by a cheaper one? this is a question you may need to ask yourself.
