"What goes bump in the night......" Welcome, and good evening ladies and gentlemen. I hope none of you are afraid of the dark, because the place you are about to adventure to is most definitely one of the darkest you'll see. The idea from Craven arose when I was working on another map, and experimenting with the FX. Seeing how dark it made the cave and colissuem, I decided to do an entire map themed around the darkness. I went with a basic symmetrical designed, and endevored to keep the map as simple as possible, knowing how dark it would be in there. Craven is the result, and I must say I like it quite a bit. You'll find it designed to work well with Slayer, Bomb, CTF and FFA, though all the other basic objective types work too. I also tried to stay with a Covenant weapons theme, since the FXs used in this map give them a really, really awesome appearance. The map itself is divided into two sections, Colissuem and Cave, connected by teleporters in each base. Both have their own unique lighting, and are fairly distinct; I tried to make it as hard to get lost as possible. Also note; Active Camo is extremely effective on this map, aided by the natural low level of visibility. It looks pretty good, but Could you get rid of the FX and the take an Overview Picture? It's pretty hard to tell what you have on the map. I'll give a DL and see for myself if its too much trouble to get a new pic. ( Not trying to sound rude)
