My first Halo map created in the Forge, filled with excitement and adventure.

Neptune's Crown is a small, unique map that features my system of "leader challenges." What are these leader challenges you might ask? Well they're events in the course, mines, that will challenge those in the top positions.

A skilled leader can outmaneuver the traps, or even use them to their advantage.

The kill ball prevents anyone from taking this turn too sharp, if they're smart.

The crown is the final area of the map, with two mines and rocky banks this area presents a real thrill to the drivers.

Though the map may look bumpy, in a couple of places, it rides smoother than the skin on a baby's bottom. The banked turns keep the drivers suspended in the action; the steepest of which is a 35 degree bank in the purple. The Map is built for race, but I anticipate Battle tracks to be a big part of it too. It's a small track fun for a quick race with a couple friends. Or it can be used for a mayhem filled game with eight participants.

    Tips

If you anticipate your turn correctly you can drift through all the mines by the glass.

Timed correctly one can actually use the mines to propel themselves through Neptune's crown, breaking the sound barrier in the process.

Staying on the outside until the apex helps on the steepest bank.

Be careful of the bump before the mine pyramid, it just might cause you to set one off.

I like the rocky part of the track, don't put trip mines on a map if you want a serious race track.

I can post a mineless map, but this map is so short it presents a challenge rather than having it completed in two minutes.
