GUARDIAN Remade by: DevilCREAMER A recreation of my favorite Halo 3 Map. I enjoyed Halo 3's maps much more than those currently in the Reach playlists so I thought Guardian was a good place to start. I attempted to make this as accurate as possible while avoiding sloppy clipping problems that comes with combining pieces. While some aspects are not perfect, the main feel of the map remains intact and it plays very much the same as its Halo 3 counterpart. All weapon placements remain the same with DMRs replacing BRs, Concussion Rifle replacing Brute Shot, and Plasma Repeaters replacing Plasma Rifles. All spawns are identical to those in the Halo 3 version and kill zones should prevent any unfair jetpack usage. Enjoy. Feedback welcome.
That looks great!!!!! I loved guardian from halo 3 and many of these reach maps are just not the same. I thought in forge you wouldn't be able to get the feel right, but this looks so good and so close to the original. Can't wait to play it. Seriously I love how you put the rocks underneath to show the whole tree it is planted on. Great joB!! just one thing- the scale looks a little off- gues i will have to play it.
One of (if not the best) Guardian remake. I've been waiting for one of these. Wish you had posted more pics, perhaps some from bottom shotty and what not, regardless it looks great. Definite DL. Good job mate.
Looks great! Finally a remake that looks like a clean and simple version of the original! Some of the others I've seen looks nothing like Guardian. It's going on the download right away!
Sir, again I would just just like to say thanks and give you props for a great starting off point. Your initial map was a great start that I was able to take and use the ideas from to make my Guardian. I'm a perfectionist though so I've been working and tweaking the map over the past month to get the final version to what it is now. Would have never happened if it wasn't for yours. Thanks.
Looks like a good remake. It not only looks like the actual map but since you used larger pieces I would imagine it would have no problems with frame rate.
