Hi. When i started forging in reach, the first downside that i imideately noticed was that you gotta use the LB and RB buttons to change the elevation of an object, or set the coordinates (as far as i know). That's sometimes helpful, but it's also really annoying as i cant get rid of some bumps. Comparing with halo 3 you could pull the item up or push it down by using the stick, but the LB and RB buttons are too sensitive, so the object will appear either slightly above or slightly below the other object that im trying to snap it to. The same thing happens when i use the coordinate system, it appears either above or below the other object. This only happens when i use different angles on the different objects, for example when im making a ramp. Is it possible to make it sensitive when working in altitude (as when placing the camera above the object which makes it very easy to get it right when working in those directions)? Or is it possible to snap the edge of one object to the edge of another? If you dont understand what im trying to say, tell me and i'll see if i can explain using some pictures.
If you still get bumps between objects using just the crouch button, there's a way to move objects by an even smaller amount. Instead of just waiting for the object to rise or fall after using the crouch button + R/L B, deselect the object before it stops moving. The object will only move by very little every time. I usually pull this off by selecting the object, holding down the crouch button then pressing the left or right bumper and A at the same time. Once done several times, it becomes much easier to make things seamless / bumpless.
