BOW TIE Small, symmetrical, and kinda tie-shaped. 4 player max; FFA Slayer, Team Slayer or Multi Flag. Version 1.1. --- What's up, Forge Hub? It's been some time. I sorta dropped out of the race to create awesome maps in Halo 3, and looking now at the stuff that was being created as recently as last month, I can see that Forge maps never stopped improving. I sure as hell couldn't resist dipping into Forge in Reach. That Forge World Vidoc brought me as close to tears as any real event in recent memory. This is a map I made with very rough plans, playtested in a super minimal fashion, and now am publishing for you only out of boredom. Enjoy! Bow Tie is a tiny little floating symmetrical map. It's pretty fun for 1v1s as long as your opponent isn't too beastly with the Sniper. A decent quick-scope and simple knowledge of spawns can pin you down. There are two major bases opposite each other, seperated by a dish. I freakin' love those dishes. Can't resist sticking them in everything. Slightly clockwise around from where the main bases join the dish, two Sniper towers (courtesy of Ascension) also join it in opposition to each other. Walkways run from the back of the main bases, through the Sniper towers, and then down under the dish to a Bottom Mid platform with a Rocket Launcher. And that's pretty much it! Up to 4 people can play here in FFA or 2v2 Slayer or CTF. Give it a shot and give me your thoughts. I recognise already that there's so much far more detailed and lovingly created stuff here, so I'm already well outclassed, but nevertheless, I thought I might as well post it up. Hahah, yes, the name. Like I said, this wasn't a highly pre-meditated affair. The name was pretty much the first word that came to mind when I was more or less finished. Actually it was the second, but I thought "Ribbon" sounded a little effeminate for a slaying arena.
