Do not set any weapons to 'fixed', they will never re-spawn and turn invisible or some crazy ****. Also that is why if you see a weapon and cant pick it up it is because it is set to fixed. So DO NOT set weapons to fixed.
I kinda figured it would work like that, fixed does mean fixed... its best to set your weapons to normal if you have a nice area to place them but if you are wanting to place it on a wall or something in that manor, phased is the way to go.
so what are the exact propeties of a fixed weapon? because i was playing earlier, and this rocket launcher floated every time someone dropped it. it was really weird. and ive played a custom game where the weapons were very hard to pick up (like, you had to get lucky for the message to come up) and they acted like walls, you couldnt walk through them. i want to know about that. and what about objective objects?
