Remake Perplex

    Perplex v1.2 (New ceiling, hoping to help the frame rate issue)

    NOTE: This remake is NOT to be based on Scaling and Accuracy. I tried to adapt it more to halo for better or for worse, and it is certain that I am bad at scaling. It is also why i didn't name the map complex

    Anyways, it is partially the remake of complex, which is a popular room-based map played on perfect dark and goldeneye, which were pretty much the greatest classic shooters ever. Each room was designed aesthetically in hopes to provide callouts for every room.

    The weapons and equipment consist of a shotgun, rocket launcher, a sniper rifle, DMR's and assult rifles, frags and plasmas, an OS, and 5 health packs around the map. It seems like a lot, but its a pretty big map.

    2 Rooms are missing (Green Room and Red/Orange room) but they look just as beautiful

    Also, there are 2 pairs of teleporters
    1) From green room -> top yellow
    2) From defender's room ->Rocks

    Before I submit this, I don't wanna make a new thread, but there are 2 1v1 maps that i made that are made out of simplicity and fun.

    I love this map ran 4's on it today it has so much potential.... There is just one major issue framerate lag. Its absolutely horrible frame rate in 4v4. 1v1 I can see it but 4v4 no unless you cut down on the amount of detail and objects. I just made an account to comment on this map because I think it could be 4v4 if you budgeted correctly. Thanks.

    Yeah, it could use a bit of trimming. The FPS goes kaput too easily

    Thanks for trying it. The most i've played was 2v2 sadly, so i've never understood the frame rate.

    Does the frame rate have to do with simply using too many objects? or does it have to do with too many objects being merged together?

    i could maybe replace some of the outside walls with coliseum walls to reduce the number of objects, if that helps it. or else maps that big are screwed

    Added after 4 Hours 10 minutes:

    ok i made a quick v1.2 version. IMO the reason for the horrible frame rate was because of the ceiling, being made of large walkway covers. i could actually see it in forge.

    Anyways, i used the last of the walls that i had, so i hope that can do it, because if not, there's not much else i can do.
