Kingdom *needs some playtesting*

    This is one of the best looking map I have seen so far. The bases both look amazing.

    hey everyone, I'd really like to thank the people who volunteered to help playtest the map. Those games have been very helpful in helping balance out the map. I've updated a lot of stuff, added a banshee on a platform on the ridge below the castle, fixed spawners to avoid spawn camping, changed weapon respawn timers, added some decorative and path smoothing polish. I was able to play an 8v8 as well as smaller matches. The big matches are pretty crazy and a lot of fun, and the smaller matches are still playable because of all the vechicles and jetpacks around the map.

    Currently I am in the process of setting up an invasion mode for the map. It will hopefully run much better than the previous territories and one flag setup because now spawning will be more dynamic and choosable. Here is a breakdown of the Invasion encounter so far:

    Phase 1:

    Up to 3 defenders can spawn inside of the large village hut (not the large church/tower). One defender spawns by the wraith spawn on the Alaska staging ground, while the other 4 members spawn inside the castle next to x2 ghost and a revenant. Attackers spawn in 2 groups of 4 on either side of the village, one on the cliffs of montana, and the other by the cave/cliff on the opposite side. The first objective is a single very large territory marker surrounding the entire village which has a long timer (currently one minute). The attackers must kill the couple defenders occupying the village and hold off the castle defenders in their vehicles long enough to capture the village. Attackers can respawn on either cliffs they started on, or at their backfield spawner which is inside the large church/tower. Defenders have a backfield spawner in the upper castle keep, a spawn by the large water cave, and one on the cliffs of montana just outside of the castle. The main gate of the castle is open initially, but the gates will automatically shut 60 seconds into the match, leaving only the back gate open.

    Phase 2:

    Attackers now control the village allowing the human vehicles to start spawning (gauss warthog, x2 machine gun warthog, missile warthog, x2 mongoose, and falcon. Attackers respawns have pushed farther into the field, with a respawn at the water cave, and one on the cliffs outside of the rear castle gate. Defenders have been pushed back and can spawn in the castle rear gate, or at the wraith outpost on Alaska. In this phase a bomb will spawn at the Alaska station and must be placed at the main gate in order to blow open the door for vehicles to enter. I'm thinking this round may be slightly longer and could have an instant arm for the bomb. Only testing will determine the proper balance for this stage.

    Phase 3:

    The castle gate has been destroyed and now the attackers are overtaking the castle. Defenders spawn have been pushed back to the lower keep (and upper keep backfield) and a backup spawn in the valley right next to the banshee. Attackers can now spawn at the main gate at ground level or in the rear gate tower. A core spawns in the upper keep tower and must be taken and brought back to the village for extraction.




    Anyways that is what I have setup right now, and will be trying to run a playtest in the next few days, most likey over the weekend. If you would like to help playtest this new invasion mode I will most likely start testing on saturday.

    I've had my eye on this map for a while now. Any chance you could upload a beta of it to your file share? I'd really like to wander around in it...even if it's unfinished...

    I remember in original testing no one was able to find any weapons, vehicles, etc. and the pathways to get some items (especially the Shade turrets) were too hard to find and complicated to traverse.

    Did you fix up any of these issues along with adding Invasion? If not, you should make that a priority, and ask for feedback on specifically that issue when testing.
