after lots of time playing and tweaking inside the world that is "forge" i think i've created a map worty of sharing with the world. It is a fairly small sized map designed to create constant action without people spawning on top of each other. I have taken a couple of screenshots of it which you can see below would love people to download it and give it a try. Worth having as a back-up in-case other maps get a bit stale. you can add the map to your active downloads through the Bungie website here; Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Details don't forget to leave me some feedback on what you thought or what needs to be improved. The map is completely original and supports the following gametypes; --------------------------- 1 Flag CTF 2 - 4 team CTF & Multiflag Assault One Bomb Assault Headhunter - FFA + 2-4 team Headhunter Pro - FFA + 2-4 team Juggernaut KOTH - FFA + 2-4 team Crazy King - FFA + 2-4 team Oddball - FFA + 2-4 team all slayer gametypes - FFA + 2-4 team Stockpile - 2-4 team ----------------------------- Enjoy MZ
lol ya, not bumping your own thread ha ha. Things seem a little clustered. Can you give us a weapon list? Props for making playable for all game types.
bump in disguise! haha will not happen again i promise. the weapons are all spartan weapons mainly AR and DMR's 2 shotguns on ground level and a rocket in the middle. there are 2 snipers up for grabs but the map is designed more for close combat so you have to be a very good sniper to make the most of them. fun little bit i added is that each base has a teleporter to a glass fronted room that looks over the enemy base. No way in or out other than the teleporter, just thought it was nice to be able to spy on your enemy or flaunt a flag in front of them before returning through the teleporter to score!
The gameplay is not only incredibly varied but wonderfully spread out; you will rarely find a match in which all players fight in the same exact area. The pit was much this way in H3 and I loved it, just as I've played this map and it's fantastic. Great job! I really can't give much advice except add some lights or colors. But really, I loved the map. And I don't love a lot of maps.
you sir have literally made my day the idea from laying the first block was to create something fun and varied that encouraged fast game-play with teamwork. thanks for the feedback, it is honestly very appreciated.
