The fiction genre of which Halo is a part was established by the book Starship Troopers. Big ships, dropships, space marines. The first film to really show these ideas on screen was ALIENS. Halo owes ALIENS a huge debt of gratitude, and to help repay that debt i give you The Sulaco: From the back: Down below: Wake from cryo sleep: Grab some guns: Get to the hangar: Express elevator to hell: The Original: Thats it, no gametypes, just for looks.
I just Dl'd this map to get a better look at it, and wow, i thought the pics made it look good, great job with the killball too But.... With $3400 left..... think of what can be made to fight it....
Really nice, i have to admit it was a lot smaller than i thought it'd be but i suppose that gives you more budget to add finer details. The cryo pods are a nice touch.
erm yeah my friend had a go at me for showing him a ship map with no bridge so just to stop him moaning i had to build it a bridge i still have the map if you wish to see it
Hey barcode can I use part of her for my Hadley's Hope infection map? i don't see how or why I would want to try and remake this with how good yours looks. You would still have credit, But building the Sulaco was just part of my HH map... and you sort of beat me to it.
Anyone is free to use this for thier own maps, as long as i get a credit and heads up. I didnt put in a bridge because you dont see one in the movie. Given that the ship is deserted after they all leave, you have to assume it is highly automated.
I have made a map based on your awesome ship, give it a try ! http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-casual-maps/108823-asteroid-belt.html
