This is a remake of the popular Lockout map from Halo 2. I have tried to make it as accurate as possible in terms of distances and heights. All the jumps from Lockout are also on it (except for the superbounces).

I have used 125% jump height on it, as I believe this makes the map more accurate, so remember to put this on. It still needs a bit of testing, so any input and constructive criticism would be appreciated. Thanks

Edit: 1.1 now available. Click on the download link and it should work (it's in my fileshare if it doesn't).

I have taken suggestions into account and have vastly improved shotgun. I have also put kill areas in for jetpacks. There are a number of other tweaks to fix some glitches. If anyone else is having problems with framerate please tell me and I will consider moving the map to the waterfall, but at the moment I can't be bothered. I have got rid of the rock formation, so this should help. In terms of jump height, I think it's about as accurate as it can get. Changing it to 110% would not be good, and would make the doorframes look stupid.
Thanks for the feedback, please give me more so I can keep improving the map.

Finally a re-make that doesn't have that window thing in the centre! Good job.
Don't like the idea of having to change the jump height for the jumps to work though :/

Yes, I didn't want to change the jump heights but it makes the map much closer to the original with them changed. Jumps such as the doorframe jumps looked odd with 100% jump height.

Ohh how I love remakes. Yet this is a really good one. Everything is where it is supposed to be. Could you add some pictures from inside the grav. room and the hallway, I just want to see how you did it.

Wow dude! I've looked over you map in forge and I have to say it's incredibly accurate to the original. I found a few gaps in the forging but seriously I think this is the best re-make yet. You deserve a cookie :]
Shotgun room could use some work though.

Great remake dude. I only have 1 problem, and that is there are no kill barriers. My friend had this map and when i played it was very easy to use jet packs and grab the sniper and sword and camp on one of the buildings roofs.

Ahh, good point. I completely forgot about people using jetpacks on it. I will change that as soon as possible. I know shotgun could probably do with some work, but I had run out of pieces and thought it wasn't as important as other places. However I will try to improve it as much as possible. Thanks for the feedback

First off great map, but I don;t know if anyone else has this issue but I found that the map suffers from frame-rate issues. Personally I would suggest removing unnecessary objects and if you were willing to spend the time moving the entire map next to the waterfall which would probably smooth out the frame rate issues as well as make the map more ascetically accurate.

Another suggestion I have is to bring everything below bottom mid/ main playing level up a bit. I felt that the vertical scaling was a bit off and noticed that you broke up most jumps into two parts. I think scaling it for 110% jump height might be a bit more practical than 125%.

v1.1 is now up. I have listed the improvements on the first post, and have also added a picture of inside lift. Enjoy
