Ok so the first week of Halo Reach I started making a map. But this week after I have almost finished it my Forge World wont load. It gets to about 39% loading then proceeds to say "Player Failed to load content". Could someone help with this issue or somehow direct me to someone who can?
are you allowed to play custom user content? is your disc scratched? does it load other forgeworld variants? have you tried saving a second forge map and loading that? those are all of the possible problems i could think of.
Everything works in match making but when I do FORGE or CUSTOMS that message pops up. Ive tried those things youve suggested already.
You are not allowed to play player created content. On the xbox dashboard, go into the Parental Controls (or whatever its called) settings and one of the options is that. You have to change it to ALL, not friends only, or you will not be able to play any user-created content. Even your own. If this doesn't work, try going to gamestop or a similar gaming store to get your disk repaired because it is probably scratched. It could also be that a save-data is corrupt, but i think its unlikely. Just in case however, connect to xbox live on your profile (so it saves online,) then delete your profile first, and the Halo: Reach memory second. Then just recover your GT. Try this as a last resort, because it resets campaign data and saved maps. If you STILL can't get it to work, the universe hates you.
you arent allowed to play custom user content. its a parental control on your xbox. if you are allowed to play the built in stuff, but not the usermade stuff, than its a parental control, not a glitch. talk to your parents, or if you know the password change it yourself, it should be a setting in the dashboard somewhere. edit-oops, jex beat me to it.
You could always try getting a motorized automax. That's what I got and it works like a charm. Might seem expensive, but I've had a lot of disk failures... so it's a nice, convenient quick-fix whenever i have scratches. [/not trying to advertise.. just trying to help]
