Hey guys, first off, great site! didn't even knew it existed....I scanned the board and did not see a similiar question so here it goes...any assistance would be greatly, greatly appreciated.... so I made this board on forge and i've been doing it for a couple days now...the board is over water, like right above it...so I decided to be cute and spawn a wraith..only it explodes as soon as it spawns (it spawns in the water) I had it spawning over a rock but IDK it just spawns in the water and explodes instantly and slows the entire game down..it's incredibly frustrating....if anyone could perhaps give me some advice or pointers in this situation it would be awesome..it's so frustrating! I need to remove this Fing thing but I cant! Please help
So wait the board is above the water but the wraith spawns in the water? Could you post a couple pictures please or describe it in more detail? Otherwise my best guess is that the wraith spawns too deep in the water, try raising it up a bit. EDIT: Or do you need to delete it? Otherwise just spawn another wraith and go delete all of these objects.
Hey Rifte, thanks allot! wow you're quick....ummm I know this sounds nuts but im kind of a technology noob (don't even have a cell or digital cam) soo pics are out of the question for now..my apologies... I'll try and explain as best as I can: so the board has kind of a burial mounds feel (a crash site) so objects are thrown about in the water..one of the last effects I decided to make was that of a wraith falling into the water only I did not realize it would spawn under the water..when it does it explodes instantly and I can't even locate it to delete it or grab it and it causes severe slowdown in the gameplay. I tried waiting there for the respawn to see if I could catch it real quick but no luck! It's a shame cause I really think this was my best board yet and I had to go ruin it at the end! i tried putting some groundwork underneath where i feel it spawns (like a giant rock) but it spawns UNDER the rock! lol if it wasn't so awful I'd be hysterically laughing right about now. Thank you for yoru response!
Yes, I edited my post because that's what i thought you meant. Just spawn another wraith and go "delete all of these" and that should work. You do this by hitting "B" on the object and the bottom one gives you that option.

When rifte says pic, he doesn't mean like with a camera. on the disc, there is a feature called theatre. you can go and view any games you played; matchmaking, customs, campaign,...and forge. when you biew a recent game, you have the option to take a screenshot, right from the game. you could then go to your bungie.net profile, and see it there, and do other things. if you want to embed pictures, use this link to learn how to. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-3-custom-content/18644-embed-screenshots-your-map-thread.html hope I cleared that up for you. the picture thing...

Speaking of which, make sure you embed your pics... It's a strict rule on the site that when you finally post your map it must have at least one embedded picture within 24 hours of the post, or the thread will be removed. Good luck with your map. Perhaps you could raise each board a small bit? Until the wraith no longer explodes.
