Titan 2142 is based off the classic game mode from the popular Battlefield 2142 (2006). Each team has a massive base or "Titan" hovering hundreds of feet above the ground. The map is built for CTF, but could also work for Slayer, and One Flag CTF. The two team have infiltrate the enemy's titan, steal their flag, while defending their own flag. Theaters of War: -Battle in close quarters combat while in the titans -Fight in air battles while either driving of in the gunner seat of a falcon. -Fight a land battle with either vehicles or on foot Here are some screen shots: EDIT: In the list of topics, most of threads have pictures of the maps, how do I do this? Thanks
Forgehub requires pictures to be embedded. You have 24 hours to do so before this thread is locked. Here is a tutorial on how to do so. You probably also want to give a lot more details on your post. Most people won't download with seeing some real overview pictures or something, and most people won't understand it here unless they've played BF2142. I also suggest you also make your text the same color, except for titles and highlights and such. It gets a little annoying to read.
I followed your tips, but I still dont know how to put a picture where it says "picture not specified" how do I do that?
Don't worry about that, that you should be fine without. To add one though, although I haven't tried it yet in theory it should work, you should be able to click edit and then go advanced, and look for the option that relates to a thumbnail or a preview image or something.
Seems like a neat map, but the Titan's design leave me a bit wanting. ^^ It looks more like a floating platform than any kind of ship or such, but I admit, the game's play out well on it. It just needs that extra bit of oomph that comes with the looks and appeal.
Thanks for the help, it worked How should i add that stuff? Ill make sure I dont forget it in other maps I make
Give it more curves, I'd say. Make it look like the weight in the Titan's can actually hold the weight of the platforms that everyone walks on. Braces, Angles, Structure that looks like it would realistically exist, even if the methods of propulsion don't! I have a similar map, my Partisan VII, with pictures, if you think it might help!
I agree, give it more curves and bulk it up a little to make it manlier-looking. It's very good for a first map, so I won't be too hard on it. I think the beauty of ForgeHub is that you can post something and get useful feedback so that you can come out with a version 2 that blows everyone away. But I like this. I really do. I would suggest playing around with objects and think about how you might be able to use them in unconventional ways (maybe rotated and/or merged with other objects) to create something truly unique.
