Okay, for the past week I've been trying to open up my NAT setting on my modem, and I can't get it to ****ing work.

To start things off my internet setup is:

Motorola High Speed DSL Modem: Modle # 2210-02

    Apple Airport Extreme

Netgear Pro Safe 5 port Gigabite Switch
(xbox and mac don't talk to each other, have to run an ethernet cable through this.)

Now, I've tried forwarding these ports on the Airport Extreme:

    TCP 80
    UDP 88
    UDP 3074
    TCP 3074
    UDP 53
    TCP 53

That did jack **** for me. Still strict.

Next I've tried opening the ports on the Modem, but when I got to the router interface screen, I could not find where to open the ports.

Do any of y'all, know what to do?

I just want to play Reach.

Sorry if this lets you down cause you think it is an answer, but I just want to say that I have moderate NAT and have always had it in 3 but never bothered to fix it. If whatever somebody finds can help me too, I would appreciate it.

Um.. I made a thread a while back to change your NAT from moderate to open... It seemed to work a tiny bit, but not much. My suggestion is to just try to get it to moderate because opening it entirely really doesn't seem to do much..

    Good luck, though

Enter your router IP into your address bar, (192.168.1.1, etc) Go to advanced settings, to firewall, DMZ, then enable and enter your xbox's IP address (found in system settings > network settings > configure network) and save the settings.

That's how I do mine, but your router may be different and you might have to search around for the DMZ tab.

Guys, stop giving him links on how to port-forward, he blates just told everyone in the OP that he has opened those ports.

Right, some routers have built in NAT settings, as in, even if you open the ports, it is still closed if the setting for open nat is off. Another name they give this setting is DMZ. If you want me to have a look at your settings over teamspeak then go download teamspeak and when we both are online, I will open it for you over that. I've had to do that with a few people on this forum before. :)

Hit me up in a PM and if you see me in the shoutbox and you have teamspeak downloaded, let me know and I will organize in the shoutbox with you :)
