Hey, just basically finished my first map inspired by the game show guts where the kids had to race up the mountain. In this map, the main gametype is neutral assault with four teams. It has also been set up for two team neutral ctf. the map is set up so four teams start at the bottom of the 'mountain' and must retrieve the bomb or flag that is at the very top and bring it back to theor specific spawn and score either 3 or 5 points. here are some picutres that show views from the top and the bottom (sorry for the quality, i dont know how to upload screenshots). theres some pretty cool secrets hidden in the level and weapon placement is a big factor in how the game is played.. http://img833.imageshack.us/i/img0465i.jpg/ http://img408.imageshack.us/i/img0466.jpg/ I played it once with 8 people and it was a blast, just tryin to see how everyone likes it and hopefully get some 12 or 16 player games going. you can download the map called supercrag 2.0 hosted by purpherb and feel free to send me an invite if u wanna play. the only problem i have seen is the map will occassionally lag a few seconds. I think it is because the layout is so advanced or maybe ecause the map is completly floating?? again let me know how u guys like it, download it and give it a shot on assault or ctf.
Took a long time, eh? Looks like a 20 minute job, unless that is a long time for you. Maybe you could take a looksie around the forums too, if the map really took that long, you shouldn't mind making another 2 minute search for proper screenshot guides.
