Hi this is my first Reach map but me and my friends have had many a fun time playing our favourite custom game on this map. Please leave comments on how I can improve the map because this is not the finished version. Thank you Ok the aim of the game is to get round the track with out falling off, avoiding the Sniper shots/Rockets from the Zombie on the way... There are two ways to go straight at the start, down the main steep drop (which btw i advise taking slowly until you get a feeling of where to land, otherwise you will find yourself somersaulting) and a second path to the left which is more of a gradual drop. you then follow the map around and find a second fork where you can go left for a long easier way round, or right for a harder but shorter route, at the ends of both these paths is a teleport, teleporting you to the top of the cliff where four banshees await allowing you to kill the zombie! i played this kind of game a lot in Halo 3. its definitely a great party gametype, lots of fun! i'm gonna download your track now and see how well it plays, but one thing i can mention right now just from looking at your screenshots: i see the player hopping off of his mongoose to step into the teleporter; you know you can set your nodes to teleport vehicles now too, right? cause in those intense, photo-finish moments where you just barely make it to the finish line, it would suck to get sniped because you had to take the time to get off your mongoose. i would recommend just teleporting the player while they're still driving. its less of a hassle for them.
When you download it you will see that at the teleports there is objects blocking you from view of the zombie on the platform
ah yes, i see it in the pictures. that works i suppose. i still might change it myself, just cuz it'd be easier to not have to hop off.
I like the style, this is one of my favorite games in halo 3 because i actually made a pretty great map myself. one thing i might mention is that it looks a little bumpy but alot of fun if it were more smoothe, i guess i will have to try it and see but its just a suggestion
