SPOILERS MAYBE (probably not) I believe I have found what the farmer said had killed his son in the field. FYI: This part only works on Legendary. Right when you load up the first level (Winter Contingency), if you look hard you can spot an elite in camo running from the broken-down warthog toward the two Moa's on the right. I have tried to kill him but have not been able to. It might be because I just suck, or he just can't be killed. Then he runs to about here; And then he disappears, so I figured he's gotta be the guy who's on your motion tracker right before your first fight with the Covy. But it turned out to be this skirmisher; Which can be found on all difficulties, not just Legendary. Then he jumps up over yonder to the left; Then he disappears as well. Oh, and I hope nobody posted any of this yet. EDIT; apparently, he drops a data pad when you kill him. Sorry.
