Anyone else noticed Engine physics aren't as fun as halo 3 - objects no longer float

I've noticed in the Halo Reach forge I can no longer create certain scenarios I used to create in Halo 3.

For example if I create an enclosed area in Halo 3 Forge and put grav lifts on the floor and fill it with Soccer Balls - they continually react with realtime physics travelling up and down - bouncing off eachother and then receiving another boost from the grav lifts as they travel back down starting the whole process over again. They are constantly moving throughout the game.

This doesn't happen in Halo Reach, it seems in Forge when you drop the object where you want it, it reacts for a few seconds then seems to find a place a place of rest after 2 seconds and just stays fixed there. Objects no longer move in realtime physics continually :(

Kinda sucks, I enjoyed using gravlifts to make constant moving objects - the maps are very static in Halo Reach

I haven't really noticed that - then I again I haven't forged much either. But what would that be used for anyway?

i hate how you can only have 8 gravity lifts total; regardless of type. i also hate how expensive shield doors are and how difficult they are to see against forge world's sky / water.
but the thing that i hate the MOST: ****ing fall damage. goddamn.
