Why are we still talking about this? there have been many ideas posted where people say "Im gonna take your idea" Its never the same exact map because people dont look at the pictures when there making it and say, "this block goes right... here, no wait its a millimeter off, I better fix that." I mean seriously It happens all the time but its never perfect, and if its the exact same map with one more object, they always get caught.

I modify m,aps all the time. If I dl a map, and i htink it could be better or cheat proof or anything like that, Ill do that. then once completed, I sne dthe map to the original owner and ask them:
    1. do you want to claim this as your own i think It will be awesome?
    if no then
    2. do you mind if i repost this? i will credit you?
    if no then
    3. want to play custom games xD?

but i get what you are saying.. Im terrified to post my ideas with that recent vid showing how completely expansive invasion gametype.. well all of them, in case someone else does it before me.

    Hi, first post here :)

I have been looking for information on this, and I have a random question, well more of a point I want clarification on.
If I make a map in forge and upload it onto my file share, then somebody downloads it changes a few bits and saves it does it save under their name?

I read the bit about 'Original Creator' and all that, I just wanted clarification that this is indeed the case and my name will stay with my map, unless they copy it from scratch!

    Hope this makes sense! :)
