Welcome to boot camp cadets. This here'll be your first test. You all think your so tough.. and ya'know that might be true. But none of you would even dare attempt this test of smarts and skill. Bron over brain won't do you n00bs, a lick of good. Forgot being able to bounce your way through this course too, because I'll personally be tying lead weights to your legs. Enjoy. Hello everyone, this will be my first ever map attempted in a Halo Forge mode. I have little experience in forging so constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. This is a rather simple 'get to the point' style map, mostly made for experimenting with the forge. Look forward to MUCH more complicated maps in the future. Now onto the map features.. Objective: Reach the top of the mountain. Features -challenging level design -hidden benefits -choice of paths will make or break you -addictive if you ask me Specs -Any number of players can play this map, though more than 8 might get a bit crowded, especially on the starting slide -King of the Hill mode Screenshots This screenshot shows 2 of the different paths you may take. A screenshot of one of the more difficult maneuvers in the map. A screenshot of one of my small underwater tunnels, something I hope to expand upon in my later maps. Tips/Advice Keep in mind my maps usually aren't intended to completed upon the first try. They're on a trial/error basis. These messages usually apply to the map. Tip 1: '"Right is not what it says" Tip 2: "First is the worst, second is the best" Save your grenades, and don't waste your ammo. You'll need it.
Well, I'd say this is a really good first post. It has a good description, and actually has pics. Congrats! And also the forging does look noobish, but it is a challenge map. Also making an underwater tunnel on you first map is pretty smart. I'll try it. And also I think you should turn the tin cups upside down. Or you could replace them with vehicle man cannons. Which look like alien tin cups.
Thanks Enjoy, let me know if you get stuck. And yes, I know the forging is nooby, but that's why I'm practicing
