Ok, so, here goes. My friend and I have been wanting to make an infection map, but we've had no luck with figuring out how the spawning works. We've been trying for hours, but we've failed each and every time.

    Here's basically what we want:

We want to have a spawn zone just for humans.

We also want a spawn zone just for zombies, separate from the humans.

HERE'S our problem. I set up an initial spawn zone and I go under label's and select "INFECTION". Great. that one initial spawn is now where the Infection spawns, right? Yes, but kinda.

I set up several other initial spawns and I set them as "INF_HVN" or something along those lines. It's not the label "INF_SPWN". So far, that's where the humans have spawned. I start the game up, and the humans spawn where they are supposed to and the Infection spawns where they are supposed to. The problem is when the Infected dies, there are no respawn points. Easy fix, right?

Unfortunately not. I've placed respawn points where I want the infection to respawn. I've labeled them "INFECTION" and "INF_HVN" and "INF_SPWN"with the same outcome. Whenever I put more than one respawn, the for some reason the infected and human spawns always, always get confused. The spawns are completely random, no matter what the label is.

Has anyone figured out the solution to this problem? Is it easy and I'm just an idiot, or is it a Bungie glitch?

Have you tried setting the team color of the spawn point?

You need to do team color, attackers should be blue if im not mistaken, "Inf_spwn" means that its a spawn point that only appears in infection, "inf_HVN" notes that the object should be a safe haven for survivors, but it should only be applied to buildings, or a koth marker for open spaces.

I didn't realize colors had anything to do with it. I'll try that.

And "INF_HVN" is required for any infection map, regardless if Havens are in play. The map won't work without them.
