hmmm. Have you tried using hill markers with the inv_res_p* label (Where * is the phase you want the spawns to be used) instead of respawn volumes?.

Also see if tagging a loadout cam nearby locks to that respawn area.

I will be testing this today and will post results later.

Yes, I have tried that. However, it only works with the third phase, cams and everything. The first and second phases' spawns are random and you can't choose where to spawn. I am going to experiment some more today.

OK, I figured it out. There are two kinds of spawns (my exact names might be a little off):

inv_respawnzone -- This means that players can spawn at this place starting at a time you choose, and until the end of the game. Set the sequence to the round you want to be able to first spawn at (ex: sequence 1=able to spawn on sequences 1-3, sequence 2=able to spawn on round 2-3, sequence 3=able to spawn at just sequence 3).

inv_respawnpt#(1 or 2 or 3) -- This respawn point means you can spawn there just durring that sequence (1, 2, or 3). Make sure to set the sequence at 0 always, and just choose inv_respawnpt# (1, 2, or 3).

The players will spawn exactly where the hill marker is, and the camera will be in the same spot pre-spawn. I also put spawn points in the hill area, but they don't seem to do anything. However, they might if multiple people spawn at the same time.

Hope that makes sense guys! :)

great work Cheese! We've almost got all the features locked down.

I have since found out inv_platform has no use, its exclusive the elevator on spire.

Why this couldn't be hidden from us I do not know.

Edit: It also appears that we use inv_vehicle or inv_weapon to spawn items (and possibly scenery in). tests will be conducted soon and an advanced invasion forge guide will be constructed to cover this.

What do you mean "items". I know you can spawn vehicles and weapons, but do you think we could spawn other stuff with those options too?

EDIT: I tested it, and if you set it to inv_weapon or inv_vehicle with a sequence number, it works with scenery! :)

inv_mancannon does the same trick, without popping a waypoint over the object.

Thank you, it's a lot easier to hear someone explaining it than trying to read the tutorial Bungie posted!

Is it possible to carry an objective onto the falcon? Like carrying the flag in the warthog/mongoose? Or is that a big no?

I had this problem when trying to make phase 2 an assault objective. Turned out the problem was in the custom game options you have to make sure the phases are set to the objective type you designed in the forge map

Alright I wanted to do this so that scenery spawn after the 3rd phase, because i want to make it look like bridge was destroyed.

I tried doing this by setting the column to inv_mancannon, and spawn sequence 4. I't didnt work so i just set it to red team(which is my attacking team) but it still didnt work. So i tried doing it for the sequence 2 with the same stuff and it still didn't work. Any suggestions?

This video helped me out big time. Bungie's guide is confusing and this showed me how to set phased re-spawns by changing Game Type Label to INV_RS_1, INV_RS_2 or INV_RS_3.

Also, Bungie's Invasion + Forge guide doesn't tell people to use a flag stand and change it to objective flag in order to spawn a core for the final phase.

    Huge help. Thanks.
