    Is anyone else having a tad bit of trouble getting use to the new forge? It's very awesome, but i think it'll take a bit of time. Is their any other way to move an object up and down without LB/RB and without the coordinates, because it seems every time I move it using LB/RB or coordinates it's a little too much.

    i had the same problem but i think you have to set the coordinates for everything the same and after you save the some of the z fighting goes away

    There is a way. Press B for tools selection while holding the object and go to edit coordinates. There you can move the object up and down.

    I was gonna start on my map instantly, but im gonna take a few weeks to really learn what I'm doing here. The controls are so much different now and its throwing me off.

    i used the left and right bumpers in H3 a lot, so this is easy for me. And so much more helpful. Just remember these tips;

    *The bumpers will always move an object directly up or down, no matter where you are around the object.

    *By pushing in the stick you go into fine editing mode, so your camera moves slower. This is all you need to get rid of bumps.

    *However, if you are a perfectionist like me, use the nudge tool. It's under the physics menu. It allows you to get those pixel perfect placements.

    Do that.

    Clicking the stick as much as you have to in new forge sucks. My thumb hurt after 20 minutes.

    I'm probably going to get the Razer Onza controller whenever it comes out (lets you map any button to a new shoulder button) so I'll map the thumb clicks to the shoulders to alleviate thumb pain.
