Wow I thought this was lost and forgotten! Glad you guys are liking it. What is going to happen when Reach is arrives is Im going to forge those 2 larger rings first (as that is what makes the map unique). Then afterwards I will go through and add what I think will make it play well and keep it looking awesome. Also this map will not be posted for ages I will be including as part of my Industrial Map Pack which will contain 3 or 4 epic maps which will not disappoint you guys. You guys wont know what these are though until I post a preview because I dont want my ideas stolen before I get the game.
I think you really need to focus on gameplay on this map because right now it's looking exactly like an aesthetic map. To make it look nice just make it clean, when you are done you can add aesthetics.
Pretty much my plan of attack. Im going to layout the basic look first, get it playing well and then aesthetic it all up.
Looks pretty sweet. But I just gotta say that the bottom floor looks kinda dull. But I can't really judge until I see the actual map for itself. Anyways, can't wait to see it.
Dude, reading over peoples comments... I'd love to help you out with a few things they've addressed at some point. In my opinion, it looks fantastic. Gameplay can't really be judged yet, as you can't see any sight lines etc... Although uphill fighting is annoying I reckon it'll play rather well.
What is you built it so the two larger rings looped around the spire? Then you could do whatever you wanted to it, but you'd have a nice piece to build upon.
that would be the sickest swat map ever! it would be so hard to get a headshop b/c it is so vertical!
