Okay, so my computer has been dead the whole summer while I was on vacation. When I came back home I was like WTF! So I took it to a computer repair shop and they advised me to get a new motherboard, so I did exactly. My old motherboard was a ASUS P5N-D 650i SLI, and I just got a ASUS P5N-E 750i SLI. I took off the old motherboard and I added the new one in. I plugged everything in where it belongs, from what I can tell. But, when I press the power button, it doesn't turn on. The led lights glow blue for a second, and the CPU Fan spins 1 rotation then the computer shuts off. Please help!! Thanks in Advance.

Here is what's inside the computer:
    4gb DDR2 RAM
    nVidia 9600GT gfx card
    2 optical drives
    500gb SATA HDD

Why would you post this here? You should try an actual tech support forum...

    what are the fans doing?
are they spinning for a second, stopping, and then spinning again?
if that is the case your motherboard needs more power, some motherboards have two power inputs.

what power supply do you have?

No, the cpu fan spins for a sec then stops and doesnt spin again. The other fans dont spin at all.

-before you bought did you check if everything was compatible?
-unplug everything and plug it all back in (make sure all of your power is off!!!)
-did you open on a carpet?

    - Power Supply may not have enough juice.
    - BIOS settings may need to be tweaked and updated
    - Hardware compatibility issues
    - Possibly a bad memory issue
    - CPU could be bad
    - Parts may not be plugged and seeded correctly.
