The 7th Temple features in brief:
    • Competitive, symmetrical map for Slayer, Capture the Flag, Assault, Free-For-All Oddball, FFA King of the Hill, and Juggernaut.
    • Map is straightforward to learn, but has details complex enough to make it interesting. The player is unlikely to get lost.
    • Designed with *extensive* interlocking and "geomerging," and an elegantly simple aesthetic. The Main Temple's floor is very smooth. I consider this to be my most beautiful map by far.
    • A large central Main Temple flanked by two smaller, Base Temples.
    • A large 7th Column Symbol in the Main Temple formed by teleporters. Entering teleporters gives 1-in-7 chance of Fuel Rod Gun/Speed powerup, 1-in-7 of dying, 5-in-7 of just Active Camo.
    • Main Temple has a high roof with 4 Skylights.
    • Catacombs in the walls and under the floor of the Main Temple serve as a partially hidden route across much of the map.
    • Players are able to get onto the roof of the Main Temple, and gain a significant height advantage, balanced by lack of cover and weapon/equipment placements.
    • Energy sword on the Altar is balanced by the shotgun outside the front of the Main Temple.
    • Base Temples have an unusual design, with a Window facing the Main Temple, and an entrance on the other side.

    The 7th Temple in detail:

Will the 7 gods of Forge favor you, or cast you to your death? You will find out, if you are daring enough to tempt them.

The 7th Temple is a Foundry-based, bilaterally (mirror) symmetrical map for Free-For-All Slayer, Team Slayer, Capture the Flag, Assault, FFA Oddball, FFA King of the Hill, and Juggernaut. The map consists of a large, central Main Temple, flanked by two, smaller Base Temples. The natural base areas of Foundry are blocked off by the Outer Wall.

The Main Temple is roughly house-shaped, and contains the Energy Sword on the Altar (a raised section of fence wall floor at one end.) From the Altar, players can drop down and enter the Catacombs, or exit to an alley behind the Main Temple. The Catacombs are passages that run under the Main Temple floor, and through the thick Main Temple Walls. The Catacombs can be entered at 9 places, and parts are visible from various places outside. This makes for a lot of potential interaction between players in the Catacombs and those outside. The sniper rifle (Runtime max = 2) is placed in the Catacombs, under a grating in the Main Temple floor.

The Main Temple also contains a large 7th Column Symbol made of teleporters. If a player jumps into any of the equivalent teleporters, he has a 1-in-7 chance of getting a Fuel Rod Gun and a Custom Powerup, a 1-in-7 chance of dying, and a 5-in-7 chance of getting Active Camo, (assuming it hasn’t been taken, already.)

*Note: The intended traits of the Custom Powerup are: 150% movement rate for 15 seconds.

*Note: A player should hold down the weapon pickup button as soon as he enters one of the teleporters, in case he gets to the Fuel Rod Gun.

A player picking up a power-up from one of the Powerup Chambers quickly exits from the center of the 7th Column Symbol.

The Main Temple also contains a Bubble Shield to serve as cover within the Temple, or anywhere on the map. (Runtime max = 2.)

The Roof of the Main Temple has no weapon, equipment, or grenade placements, and a lack of cover, in order to discourage excessive camping there. Much of the Roof is exposed to machine gun turret fire from the Base Temples. The Roof has 4 Skylights, through which players can drop into the interior of the Main Temple. On either side of the Roof are destructible barriers (Coil Barriers) that, once blown off the Roof, allow teams easy access to the Main Temple Roof by jumping from their Base Roof. Players can also get onto the Roof via grav lifts at the front of the Temple.

The Base Temples contain the flags and bomb spawn/arm points between their Windows and Side Entrances. There is a Fence Room next to the flag spawn, and a shielded drop-in point above it. There is a Dumpster at the Back Entrance to the Peaked Hall. There is a machine gun turret above the Front Entrance of the Base, on top of the Green Hall.

The shotgun is under a leaning single wall in front of the Main Temple.

This map was made using a Foundry Money Glitch Canvas.

*Note: Players looking for a more strategic and balanced experience in Capture the Flag and Assault, may wish to set the flag/bomb carrier movement rate to 50%.

Ok right off the bat I see the excellent forging used in this map, very unique and like the idea. The idea is truy original and you did a very nice job making the map DL for me

A pretty original idea (its been done before, but not quite like this) I like the look of everything in the temple, but all the other areas seem rushed and not thought out. (Ex: the "shotgun shelter" is literally just a waall leaning against a wall) The bases on the sides are very cramped, and in general Halo 3 is not a close quarters game. And I dont like the teleporters being usable. U should just make them teleport right back to where u go in. It would not hurt gameplay at all in my opinion. All in all, the temple looks nice, but the map does not play very well or look good outside the temple. U could make a v2 and make the temple larger so u dont have as much unused space that u dont know what to do with.

I forgot to say, this is very smoothe on all parts of the map.

Just by the looks and after reading it gets me interested, I think it is a good map done in your head. I have seen other maps like it. Yours is unique, every map is unique. I like it, it is fun to explore. But when I was looking at the pics, there wasn't really much to it, I downloaded it, and there was just a little more then I expected. It was fun in all. My favorite game type for this map, and I recommend it. Its not because its my favorite game type, its because it is the best for the map and makes it really fun and interesting. You have pretty good interlocking. I hope you keep up the good work.
