Hey Guys, First Competitive map Post. I Made This Map with my Friend Taito345 Earlier in the year. We cleverly named it Combat Hall, and then made changes for it to become Combat Hall V2. mostly only 2 dimension map, which is good in some respect, but reminds me of trench warfare other than the far sides i would suggest adding high grounds to it to give a tactical advantage spot
one thing i don't like about this map is the lack of elevation. this map plays very boringly. yes i did play it i got a doubles in. also the rocket shouldn't be that close to the oversheild. a guy with a rocket is dangerous a guy who is invincible and has a rocket is just wrong.i would suggest making a raised walkway from rocket-spawn to back wall and then connecting it to each base. just to make people leave there base. because tright now from your base you can just br everyone also the battle rifle is way to over powering one solid br and the games over. replace some with ars and some with carbines. one really fun thing about the map is how well it plays doubles swat. so i would reccomend playing it. for a first map very good. it shows that you cared enough for the quality standards of forge hub, and that you read the rules so good job. the map is solidly forged just change up the things i said to and this will be a great remake in reach. enjoyment 4/10 flow 7/10 durability 6/10 aesthetics 1/10 game play 5/10 overall 4.75/10 just below average again great job on your first post and i hope that this helped welcome to forgehub hope you enjoy your stay
Don't rate it like that, you probably haven't even played a game on it or much less downloaded it. And of course it doesn't help! You didn't even tell him what he did wrong, you just gave false ratings. EDIT: You clearly didn't watch the video, it shows a GOOD map, not some crappy one that you described. How do Aesthetics get a 1? They look pretty nice, set aside from a few things. It looks like it could play well too. On Topic: I like what I see from the one picture but it doesn't really tell me much. Can you get some more pictures? Also, remove the filter. It hurts my eyes. I will watch the video, though.
HLG Flashpoint, ur a hypocrit. AARC Forgers did a much better job on a reply than u. U didnt even say anything about the map. My Opinion: Elevation changes are required in a competitive map otherwise the gameplay becomes boring. And rockets and OV should not be close together. Next time in ur post, just put up an unedited pic that actually shows people the map cuz then they will actually wanna DL it. Edit: Remember that most maps dont need OV, Rockets, 2 Snipers, and a shotty. On a map this small, 2 power weapons is plenty.
ok, then let me elaborate on my ratings enjoyment 4/10 I did not enjoy this map at all with doubles. except for swat. it felt like this map was tailored to doubles swat so bravo if that was what you were going for flow 7/10 this map was to easy to traverse adding in a couple of things that block movement is actualy a good thing here durability 6/10 this map is unbreakable because there is nothing to break out of. spawns were pretty good all in all although a little grouped aesthetics 1/10 the map looks clean but there isnt anything that makes the map noteworthy. add a central peice or something eye catching to bring your map notice. also it helps menuever around the map because it gives a reference point gameplay 5/10 swat doubles ftw overall 4.75/10 slightly bellow average
Ah thanks for the feedback I will very well change the weapon layout in reach. Im not going back to Halo 3 because looking at reach's and not being able to do things accuratly in 3 just makes me frustrated. So i will remake this map with my mate Taito
