This is one option I had hoped would be implemented into the game. I may be the only person in a million to want this, but I would like to be able to customize or set my turning speed based on the actual weapon I was holding at the time. When I wield something like the AR, I like to have my speed somewhere around a 9, but when wielding snipes, I prefer to tone it down to about a 3 or 4. Being able to set speeds to each individual weapon in the options would be amazing in my opinion. Thoughts?
I actually thing that's a good idea. For the most part, I like to keep my aim more steady when wielding a sniper. So that would really help a lot. Although, it's not really that necessary. It only takes a few seconds to change it so it's not really a problem.
yeagh i dont know about that. lol you think its a good idea now but imagine switching through weapons or just picking up new ones and having to constantly adjust to a new turning speed. I honestly have no idea why you change your sensitivity at all. you should always play on the sensitivity that lets you turn as fast as you can handle while still being able to aim perfectly. for me its at 4.
I'm more hopeful that there is a vertical sensitivity option, your idea would be cool, but as someone above me said, you should play on one setting and get used to it.
For the most part I do play on one setting, but I do prefer to have it less sensitive when using weapons that require a more delicate touch. Why should I learn to play on one setting when I could play more effectively on multiple settings? When I'm playing team doubles and I pick up the snipes, I have a few free seconds to go to settings and change. When playing Team Slayer, there's always randomly thrown grenades all over the place, and I don't always have time to do it right there on the fly. It would just be convenient for it to automatically adjust for me IMO. It's in no way a complaint about the game. It's definately a top contender for game of the year. Its more like something on my wish list.
This does happen, while in vehicles or holding a ripped off turret, As for light weapons I doubt it would make much difference in real life and I don't see the point gameplay wise, sorry but that's what I think.
Just go to an area without much activity and change it. Although, as others have said, it's probably easier for you to find one setting that suits every weapon.
I just want them to change it so ten sensitivity is actually ten sensitivity. Whenever I go back to CoD from Halo, I have to drop the sensitivity back down to five for a while and it gets really annoying.
I really hope they up the sensitivity in general. It's really hard to go back to 10 on Halo 3 after playing 10 on Call of Duty for so long. 10 in halo feels incredibly slow.
