So I'm really excited for the new Forge 2.0. Saw that there was a program for starting early on your Forging so started using the program. I hated MW2 with a passion but I loved the map Scrapyard, very balanced level. I started making the level and am about a quarter of the way, I didn't realize how big it really was. Anyways here is a quarter preview, should be much faster in the real game.
Wait.. you plan on making Crapyard? I dont think that maps playstyle will transfer very well, but feel free and go ahead. But watch your wall count. Remember you can only use 50. You seem to be using a lot.
I know, thanks for the heads up. I'm being pretty careful. Hey now Scrapyard was the only well made map, but I guess that is my opinion.
Well *I* like MW2, and I gotta say if you make a good recreation it will probably play well. Its got very good circular flow, as all MW2 maps do,and unlike other MW2 maps I don't think it would be abused by or not work with Halo. However, I have my doubts that you'll be able to recreate it well considering the limits. But if you do, you have an instant DL from me. BTW, are you just going to use a grav lift for the ladder?
Yes, looks like the only way with a little structure to shoot you towards the 3rd story, if not a teleporter.
Thank you. Rarely see somebody with similar views on these boards. All Halo needs is an accommodating gametype and there's no reason MW maps shouldn't play well. On topic, Scrap yard seems to be coming along nicely, just watch your items (As mentioned) and try and keep things to scale. As of now your work could inspire some non-believers.
