An ancient forerunner crypt turned into a warzone. Great for close to mid-range combat.

A friend and I have created a map that is small but fun and crazy. There are plenty of things to hide behind throughout the whole main room and is a great size for up to 8 people I would think. Currently it is only setup for "team slayer" but more may be placed later tho, but we are getting ready for the new Halo Reach Forge editor so this might be as far as this one gets. Please feel free to give us your ideas and opinions on how to improve on this, we will use those ideas in our new maps.

Did you merge anything on this map?

Pretty good map. Main chamber was pretty cool i thought. I had only two qualms with the map.
Your going to get some comments about the lack of merging. If you really want to fix all the bumps and looks here's a guide http://www.forgehub.com/forum/forging-101/93485-ghost-merging.html
I'm not a very big fan of armories and I always thought it didn't fit into a slayer map, no matter how small it is. So might wanna take it out, in my opinion.
Might want to make another opening from the top hallway into the bottom to reduce camping by the rocket launcher spawn. All in all, good map. Would love to see this in Reach forge.

Yeah, we thought about merging but wanted to get it done quick, not really the best way if your trying to please EVERYONE but that wont be a problem in the new forge so thats kinda why we didnt put all our creativeness into this map. As far as the rocket, i wanted to have something that would mix up the gameplay a lil bit if it was getting boring. Plus I am going to set the spawn time high so that it doesnt come back too often. I just really wish they would make the forge editor available on computers too. That would make life sooo much easier but thats another thread im sure :) btw, thanks for the ideas, we probably will remake this on Reach depending on how many people like it.

    Rushing your maps=fail in general
but here at forgehub we're all about constructive criticism, so scope around the site, maybe visit forging 101, and see what you can pick up.
Bungie's concept of forerunner architecture usually means a lot of angled interlocking lines. Guess that's another freebie which Reach will be giving to the player, 60% of the objects are forerunner based. Good luck in your future forging.

p.s. the Quad Cities used to be my second home
