Hey guys, my PC is now around 5-6 years old and it's about time i upgraded, and i also want to use programs such as AAE and C4D, which at the moment my PC cannot handle. Also, im very amateur at PC parts and what-not, so sorry if i get somethings wrong/do not understand . Just so you know, i currently have: 1 ghz AMD (sempron, i think, not good with names) >1Gig RAM Not sure about the motherboard or graphics card. Now, Im not sure whether to buy a whole new PC with Hard Drives etc., or just buy the parts and replace my old ones. Im looking for a dual core, 2ghz processor (AMD preferably), 2GB of RAM and a decent Graphics card to go with. Also, a motherboard with capability for more RAM slots, if possible. Price range is around £200 - £250, i might be able to stretch. So, what would be best? Get a whole new Rig, or just buy the parts in. (Keep in mind, AMD and PCI express slots would be best). Any help, opinion or past experience would be great, thanks!!
Personally, with a set up like that it would cost more money just to upgrade it, then to just buy a new PC altogether. At 1gb ram you can't do much and the same can be said for 2gb ram since that's what I have at the moment. This is just my opinion but save up more money and get yourself a decent new computer with maybe 4gb ram and a good processor to go along with it.
Thanks mate, what about simply getting a pc with 2GB of RAM, then when i get more money adding more. I should probably have said i want this PC ASAP hehe xD. Thanks again
