Pythagoras's Crypt

    The idea came from physics class, and we started talking about Pythagoras's followers and how they believed in complete symmetry and that everything was made of triangles.so i started doodling a map like always and this is what i came up with :)
    pink is bottom level, red is half level, green are ramps, teal is the third level, and yellow is the second level.it's not very detailed but it's a basic outline

    This is as far as i got, and it is probablygoing to follow this directly.haha, with more detail and aesthetics of course.(i need to beat out the star from Quiztiq). I just have one problem...Build This On Halo 3 or Reach!?

    I'd say Reach. If you want the map to have great aesthetics and gameplay, you wouldn't want to rush it so people can play it. How big is this map going to be? Maybe try using sketch-up to give us a better idea of what you're getting at.

    I can't quite grasp the detail from this pic but definitely wait for Reach. It would be pointless to make this map in H3 when 90% of the people are gonna be on Reach in 2 weeks. Oh, and the feedback for your Ninja maps is done if you didn't already know.

    ninja maps? i posted qiztiq in the testers guild? not any ninja maps.and you never let me know how your feedback was on that ;P haha.and yeah that makes sense, its not going to be too big, medium sized. bigger than qiztiq if you played that, and i was thinking of making a bunch of fake structures above this structure, kind oflike an octagon but in the shape of the cylinder, and the gameplay would all be in the bottom 3 layers of the cylinder(if that made sense.haha) i tried using sketchup earlier...i dont think i can try that again, i love forging and messing with computers but that was a little too much for me,ineed a tutorial for that before i do that.or maybe an early released copy of reach to complete it fast?? hahaha.and i asked this question because the name of the map is pythagoras's 'CRYPT' and they existed way before modern technology.so i didnt know how i could make a story into how it got placed into reaches objects (metal) sandbox seemed to make more sense for this purpose.maybe ill just make a mock up of this map on halo 3 and send it to the testers guild to start tweeking gameplay and i can adjust it in Reach

    wellllll since i was making maps in 2 weeks before, without ghost merging, and since i learned ghost merging for Qiztiq, i think that one week could easily make a mock up, im notsaying merging would be as excelent as possible.but enough to play on and not mess up gameplay wise. so ill put in my thread that i know merging isnt greatand i wasnt trying to make it great for this map,haha. so i might try that, once i get this homework doneee! hahaa

    Wait for Reach, I'm having the same problem with my final Zombie Map in Halo 3. Sadly, its never gonna release. Reach here we come!

    Yeah I feel yah, I just got done a first person view of the map (a sketch on paper). I'm going to try and remake it on paint, I'm so pissed my parents picked this weekend of all weekends to go on vacation, hahaha.
