as some/most of you will know, you can get nameplates for Halo: Reach by playing Marathon, and entering your code from Halo: PC. What I want to know is, is this a limited time offer, or will it always be available? I eventually want to buy marathon regardless, but it would be great if I could get the plate as well
Its overtime my friend, im upset about Halo 2 one, i had it (Halo 2) then i sold it, then i got LIVE and never got Halo 2 back so i wont complete my list! but yeah, check out Durandal on the marketplace to get that Urban kinda thing!
how many are there exactly? I have only seen the two on bungie.net, and I am assuming we will get a se7enth column again for being bungie members
ah thanks Spartan helmet is probably for the devs, and star is gonna be for getting general rank or something methinks. and I played Halo 2 while connected to LIVE, but never played games, I only changed my armour. I am thinking as Bungie.net ignores that, Reach will too >.>
They won't ignore it... they'll simply have no record of it! Bungie has records of everyone who every played a game on Xbox Live. Why would you only change your armour then not play the game?
They should keep the ability to unlock the Halo and Marathon nameplates open forever, especially since getting a legitimate key for Halo PC is going to take some digging on the internet. I just about managed to buy a copy at the reasonable price of £15 ($23) before I'd have to be ripped off at well over £30 ($46).
I'm actually happy about this. First of all, I'm eligible for The Septagon, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (ODST armor + this + blue visor color = YES!), and the Assault Rifle. I, seriously, can't wait to use these in Reach and make my nameplate say ODST (as I mentioned in the last brackets ) And I don't know about any time limits
if you do not have marathon, go and get it, it is a great game and totally worth the what 800 ms points. I am going to use that as my nameplate
The reason I changed my armor but not played was I was about to start searching, but my mum switched it all off as back then I had an actual bed time and we all agree that marathon has the best looking nameplate, no?
I played about 4 games of Halo 2 before they shut it down, and it was insane. It was my first time playing it online.
I'll probably go with the DMR to start since I already have bungie pro. and because I like it about 10000 times more than the BR
im gonna go plateless. i cant qualify for anything but the H3 nameplate, and everyone will have that. i want the star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like really really bad. like ridiculously bad.
I'm gonna use the one for the Mac CD Keys, because I love the fact that I've played these games from the beginning (ie the Mac version of Halo CE) and I wanna represent! Although I do wish they'd differentiate between Mac CD Keys and PC ones because the PC version came out after the Mac version so technically it isn't the "beginning"
I'm elligible for all of them except the Marathon one. Well, that and the ones that we don't know how to get yet.
