A fine gentleman by the name of Time Glitch is putting together a "community farewell to Halo 3." He will be recording the voices of individual members of the Halo 3 community and combining them all in a single tribute video. This is an invitation for ForgeHub members to give their shoutout to Halo 3. This video will most likely be featured in the Bungie Blog. Its simple. Just record a voice message of the things you will miss, good memories, or anything positive about Halo 3 and send it to the gamertag, "Farewell Halo 3." The deadline for submissions is September 8th. If you would like your spartan/elite to be shown in the video while your voice is being played, specify your armor set and color in text along with your voice submission. Funny or creative responses are allowed, as long as they relate to Halo 3. Shorter comments are more likely to be accepted. Time Glitch's rules are as follows: DO: -Send a VOICE message to "Farewell Halo 3" on Xbox Live. -If you'd like, include armor/colors in the text. -Please be CLEAR and ENUNCIATE. I will not be putting muddy or hard-to-hear messages in the video. -Try to keep things quick! If you take the whole message to say "I like Halo", you won't make the cut DO NOT: -Send me a text message, requesting that I voice over whatever you're texting me. -Send me a voice message while you have your head next to speaker, fan, microwave or other loud background noise. -Spam me with messages saying "PLZ PUT ME IN VIDEOZ". If you do this, you're not getting in. -Send messages to my ACTUAL GAMERTAG. Only messages to "Farewell Halo 3" will be looked at. -Request that you be holding a certain weapon. Armor/Color only, please. In summary: Send a recorded voice message to "Farewell Halo 3" to be included in Time Glitch's tribute video.
Wish he could say he was the first to actually do this... I'm actually subbed to someone who did this, the next day someone copied the EXACT format style bu changed the words around and put it on Machinima. But I guess I could send him a little message... or two.
First guy to do it or not, its a great idea. I think it would be cool to see a few of these to send Halo 3 out. If you know of any others, let us know so we can send a few messages
My tribute will come in the form of a h3 splatter/vehicle-tage. it will say more than mere words ever could.

This is a really cool idea, I can't wait to see it on Bungie.net! I just have one question: Should we say our name/gamertag in our voice message? Like "Hi, I'm L337 Commando, and...etc", or is that not necessary?
Feel free to introduce yourself briefly. If Glitch doesn't dig it, he might just add your name in subtitles As long as you keep it postitive, it should be fine.
Pop in to answer a few Qs: -No, voice pitch will not be judged. If you scream, eat your mic, or do other annoying things...That will have an effect XD. -I'll be putting gamertags in the video. You do not need to introduce yourself unless you want to. -You don't have to be "deep" or anything. Just say whatever you want, as long as it's positive and not "LOL REECH R BAD FOR NOT HAVIN BR". You CAN say you'll miss the BR, but I'll probably be getting a good chunk of those XD.
